Best Vancouver Island Golf Resorts

Looking for some Vancouver Island golf resorts where you can stay and play?

There are only a couple of resorts that offer a game combined with on-site course lodging. There are several other resorts under construction, but not ready yet.

So before you head out, check into what we say about the courses and lodging that are offered…

Vancouver Island Golf Resorts

Crown Isle – Located in Courtenay (central island), about a 1 hour drive north of Nanaimo, Crown Isle is a luxury golf resort with full services. We love the course here – 18 challenging holes and the accommodation’s excellent. Two on-site restaurants to choose from (food’s not bad), or head into nearby Courtenay - we recommend the Atlas Café for an excellent meal. Crown Isle is one of the most popular courses.

Bear Mountain – This is Vancouver Island’s newest golf luxury resort, owned by Westin, located about 20 minutes north of downtown Victoria. A fairly rugged course with an interesting 19th hole! However, reviews have been mixed with the course itself… some say great, others say not so great (we haven’t golfed it yet, but this is the various feedback we’ve heard from locals). Also, be prepared to shell out as the accommodation is expensive, but of course, is really beautiful.

Another Helpful Tip…As there’s a shortage of golf resorts, we’d suggest staying at a hotel that offers packages for one of the courses we recommend.

Check out what’s offered by visiting Golf Vancouver Island and see the deals they offer. They’ve got a list of golf-and-stay packages that put you in a hotel within reasonable reach of the course. Keep checking back, as they offer some discounted packages throughout the season.

Also... check out BC Golf Safaris . They've got some packages, but they can also customize something for you if you have a specific course you want to play.

Thanks for visiting our page, and have a great game!
