Our Picks for a Cozy Nanaimo Bed and Breakfast and Beyond

Looking for a Nanaimo bed and breakfast? If you're heading to the Central Island region, take a look at our top choices for B&Bs in this region.

A little further up the highway, we've dug up some Parksville accommodation that we think you'll like (B&Bs of course!)

Head north for a few more miles, and spend a night (or more) in beautiful Qualicum Beach BC. You'll want to stroll the beautiful beaches here, and check out the quaint shops. Have lunch at our favourite spot: Gary's Bistro on 115 West Second Avenue, downtown Qualicum Beach.

Our Nanaimo Bed and Breakfast Top Picks

NANAIMO - Long Lake Bed and Breakfast

Located in Nanaimo, here's a nice clean B&B we'd also recommend. This B&B is situated right on Nanaimo's Long Lake. Owners have boats available to use on the lake. Convenient location.

NANAIMO - The Pepper Muffin Country Inn B & B

If you want something quiet and not right in the city, then here's a nice country Nanaimo bed and breakfast. Offers 3 guest rooms, hot tub and lots of space to just stroll. Good location for outdoor adventures in the Nanaimo region - close to the city, but not right in it.

NANAIMO - The Painted Turtle

If you're looking for cheaper accommodations and aren't fussy, then the Painted Turtle would be a good place to stay. This place is basically a hostel, however bedding is provided and guests have use of a common kitchen. We like the fantastic downtown harbour location which makes this a good place to stay if you want to sightsee and shop on foot.

Best Parksville and Qualicum Beach B&Bs

PARKSVILLE - Maclure House Bed and Breakfast Inn

Located in Parksville, this is a very well-liked bed and breakfast with neat decor and good meals. Set in a heritage mansion, this one has been featured in Frommer's Guide and the rates are reasonable even in high season (summer). Don't miss a meal in the Maclure House dining room - incredible food!

QUALICUM BEACH - Eagle Landing Bed and Breakfast

Here's a good B&B located in Qualicum Beach, overlooking the ocean. Reasonable rates, and a good location as your home base to all the adventures on the Central Island.

Have a cozy stay at our favourite B&B's on central and eastern Vancouver Island!
